2016
It hardly seems like 2016 should be coming to a close. Although, it feels like 2016 has been one hell of a long ride.
Creativity wise, it’s been a poor year for me. No matter how much I re-charge my batteries, it just doesn’t seem like I get any creative juice going. I am having a really hard time getting what I envision in my mind out into the real world. But, at least it wasn’t a total flop. I managed to publish an eBook of poetry called #BROKEN and also put out that second installment of my comic for Athine.
I finally started working on a new novel and with any luck that will be completed in 2017. (Yes, I know I am sitting here not writing on that book and making a blog post instead!)
Sadly, I will drop yet another domain name. I debated keeping it, but I just don’t need it. So, next year www.myepiclore.com will go away. Since I found the NIMVA! Theme, I haven’t had the need for multiple sites. I plan on keeping www.shannonmcroberts.com and www.theobsidianpoet.com indefinitely. (I still don’t plan on posting in any sort of schedule, so if you want to know when I write something new sign up to follow the blog!)
I’ve decided not to release #BROKEN in paper form. However, I may work on that art book I wanted to publish. Once I figure out how to lay it out. I haven’t tried to lay out a printed book with pictures.
I think that covers everything. Wishing you a bright 2017!
May you have a New Year filled with dreams come true.
