Love Goes On Forever #poetry #sculpture #woodburning
I recently received some pieces of art that I had “loaned” out to my mother. I had completely forgotten about them. I rediscovered I was apparently obsessed with this tree rock thing I created. So much I even cast it in aluminum. Now, sculpture is NOT my thing. The wood burning is faded, but you get the point.
They met one day~
In the marshy swamp
Where things of heat
Grow so well.
But love goes on forever…
There they etched their love
For the world to see
But soon~
Love would turn to misery.
But love goes on forever…
Torn apart by hate and war
They died not seeing on another more
But where they met sprang a monument
So no one would ever forget~
Love goes on forever…
