Mournful Sound (#poetry)
Can you hear the mournful sound
Of a ghost long gone?
Shattered by life
Singing a sad, sad song.
The leaves whisper her regret
The trees know her shame
But no one remembers her name
When a tree falls
Does it make a sound?
When a woman breaks
Do we simply bury her in the ground?
