This was a very cool book that involves fantasy, sci-fi, and a few adult situations 😉
The only problem I had with the book was that sometimes it was hard for me to tell who was saying what. Other than that it was a real page turner and I was interested in this whole world that was created due to basically an alien gate. Kind of like Stargate almost only the people that went through it were not always willing.
It was an interesting blend of many genres and it was well written. Compared to some other stories I have read lately it was great.
I got done with the first part and was interested in seeing what had happened with the “red kitty” lady. Unfortunately, the story stopped. Not a cliffhanger, but definitely a lead up to book two!
If you like sci-fi, alien worlds, unique technology, magic, sex, and cats I would read this!
