I’m not much for tattoos myself, but this lady died a legend.   A rare breed, she started her life in the circus.  It was while working as a performer that she met Gus Wagner whom she later married.  He taught her how to do stick and poke tattooing.  As far as anyone knows, Maud never used the tattoo-machine and stuck with her traditional tattooing technique.   She passed on her creative knowledge to her daughter!
